UK activists stage protest in condemnation of Israeli air raid
British activists have held a demonstration outside the Israeli embassy in London to show their anger against the new wave of deadly offensives launched by the Israeli regime on the Gaza Strip.

On November 14, British campaigners staged a protest in the UK capital against the latest round of air strikes by the apartheid regime of Israel against the besieged territory, in which at least 17 people have been killed since Wednesday.

Massoud Shadjareh, Chair of the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC), an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the UN, said, “Israel has just murdered seven people in an illegal act of aggression. Enough is enough and people need to stand up….”

Meanwhile, a number of emergency demonstrations are planned to take place in Ireland and Britain on November 15, in response to the latest Israeli assault on Gaza Strip, calling for a halt in the regime’s murderous actions. The protests are due to happen in cities including Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Belfast and London.

The Israeli military frequently carries out air strikes and other attacks on the Gaza Strip, claiming that the actions are being conducted for defensive purposes. However, in violation of international law disproportionate force is always used and civilians are often killed or injured.
